A Dragons Quest Update 2.1 - Level Blocking


Devlog 2 - Level Blocking

Notes form Peers this week: Smooth out the background, not as jumpy (Completed with help from Unity tutorials - https://learn.unity.com/tutorial/lesson-3-2-make-the-world-whiz-by?uv=2022.3&pro...)

I made a script so the background would move to the left, then another to repeat the background in the loop. I adjusted the script taught in the Unity Tutorial so it would work with my background as the sizes were very different and this Tutorial is taught as a 3D Tutorial. 


Next updates to add a shooting script to shoot fireballs, also add a shooting script for the enemies to make the enemy move up and down to follow the player, (maybe) stop when shooting, add movement to game notes on itch (Completed).

Similar to last weeks update, there is not much in the way of level blocking to complete as there is only an upper and lower box collider in place to stop the player. 

I spent a fair amount of time on the pixel creation of the player (Dragon), the Fireball, the Enemy Balloon Knight and the Arrow. I spent time on https://www.piskelapp.com/p/create/sprite 

 - The Dragon, 15 sprites 


 - Balloon Knight, 8 sprites 


 - Dragons Flame, 8 sprites 


 - Arrow, 6 sprites.


Unfortunately I got Sick at the end of this week so i didn't get much more done like i wanted to, but i guess that Game Development.....
